Section 512 (Rear Seat (Power Adjuster Type)): Disassembly

  1. LH side: REMOVE CENTER HEADREST 
  2. REMOVE HEADREST 
    1. Remove the 2 pins and headrest.
    2. Install the 2 pins again.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

  3. LH side: REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the wire harness clamp.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat center armrest.
  4. LH side: DISASSEMBLE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and armrest hinge covers.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and center armrest hinge.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and center armrest door.
    4. Remove the screw and using a screwdriver, remove the center armrest plate.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    5. Remove the 4 screws and power seat switch.
    6. Remove the 2 screws and audio and rear A/C switch.
  5. REMOVE SEATBACK FRAME ASSEMBLY 
    1. RH side: Remove the 2 screws and center seat belt guide.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and seat belt guide.
    3. LH side: Remove the 2 center headrest supports.
    4. Remove the 2 headrest supports.
    5. Remove the hog rings and seatback frame assembly from the seatback cover with pad.
    6. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

  6. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seat back pad.
    2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  7. REMOVE HEADREST ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp.
    2. Remove the 4 nuts and headrest adjuster assembly.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  8. REMOVE SEATBACK HINGES 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 seatback hinges.
    2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  9. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION FRAME 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion frame from the seat cushion cover with pad.
    2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  10. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
    2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  11. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp.
    2. Remove the nut and rear seat inner belt assembly.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

  12. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER AND INNER TRACKS 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat outer track from the rear seat support bracket.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat inner track from the rear seat support bracket.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

  13. REMOVE SEAT VIBRATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 4 nuts and seat vibrator assembly.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  14. REMOVE SEAT POSITION ECU 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt, nut and seat position ECU.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
  15. REMOVE SEAT POSITION CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt, nut and seat position control ECU.
    3. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
