Inspection Procedure

  1. Check voltage between terminals PS+B of A/C ECU connector. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Remove A/C ECU with connectors still connected.

    CHECK: 

    1. Turn ignition switch to ON.
    2. Set mode selector to FACE or B/L.
    3. Measure voltage between terminals PS+B of A/C ECU when SWING switch is pressed.

    OK: 

    Voltage : Battery positive voltage

    1. OK : Go to step   3 . 
    2. NG : Go to next step. 
  2. Check intelligent swing resister step motor. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Remove intelligent swing register.

    CHECK: 

    Measure resistance between terminals 9 and other terminals.

    OK:

    1. NG : Replace intelligent swing register. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check harness and connector between intelligent swing register and A/C ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Check and replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Check and replace A/C ECU.
