Inspection Procedure

  1. Check telephone antenna. 

    CHECK: 

    Check that the malfunction disappears when a good telephone antenna and cable is installed.

    Result: 

    A: Malfunction does not disappear. 

    B: Malfunction disappears. 

    1. B: Replace or replace telephone antenna cable or antenna. 
    2. A: Go to next step. 
  2. Check open and short of harness between transceiver and telephone ECU (Mayday ECU) (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Check and replace telephone ECU (Mayday ECU) (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
