Inspection Procedure

  1. Recheck. (While not rotating the vehicle, turn ignition switch ON from OFF again.) 
    1. OK : Normal. (While the vehicle was turning, the ignition switch was turned ON.) 
    2. NG : Go to next step. 
  2. System check mode. (Is "58-10" is output in unit check mode of navigation ECU?) (See  PRE-CHECK  ) 
    1. YES : Replace navigation ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. NO : Go to next step. 
  3. System check mode. (Is "58-43" is output in unit check mode of navigation ECU?) (See  PRE-CHECK  ) 
    1. YES : Replace and repair SPD terminal wire harness (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. NO : Go to next step. 
  4. Navigation check mode. (Vehicle signal check mode: SPD and gyro) (See  PRE-CHECK  ) 
    1. OK : Replace navigation ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. NG : Replace or repair wire harness (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
