Inspection Procedure

Check radio and player.
PREPARATION:

Disconnect the radio and player connector.

CHECK:

Check the voltage of terminal +B.

OK:

+B: 10 - 14 V

CHECK:

Check the voltage of terminal ACC when the ignition switch is in ACC or ON position.

OK:

ACC: 10 - 14 V

CHECK:

Check continuity at terminal GND.

OK:

GND: Continuity
1. NG : Replace or repair wire harness (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
2. OK : Go to next step.
Check wire harness between radio and player and stereo component amplifier.
PREPARATION:

Disconnect the radio and player and stereo component amplifier connectors.

CHECK:
1. Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal R+ of the stereo component tuner and terminal R+ of the stereo component amplifier.
2. Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal R- of the stereo component tuner and terminal R- of the stereo component amplifier.
3. Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal L+ of the stereo component tuner and terminal L+ of the stereo component amplifier.
4. Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal L- of the stereo component tuner and terminal L- of the stereo component amplifier.
OK:

Continuity
1. NG : Replace or repair wire harness (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
2. OK : Replace radio and player (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
