Inspection Procedure

  1. Check wire harness. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Pull out the ECU connectors mentioned below.

    DTC DETECTION ITEM

    Wire harness side connector of ECU Terminal
    Combination switch - Power tilt and power telescopic ECU MPX1 (C14-9) - MPX2 (P8-8)
    Combination switch - Luggage room J/B ECU MPX2 (C14-10) - MPX+(L14-2)

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of the wire harness between the connectors.

    OK: 

    There is a continuity between the connectors. 

    HINT:

    If there is OPEN in any wire harness, please repair it.

    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness. 
    2. OK : Replace combination switch ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
