Inspection Procedure

  1. Check luggage room J/B ECU. 

    CHECK: 

    Check that the operation of luggage compartment door closer system is normal.

    HINT:

    With this inspection, whether or not the luggage room J/B ECU functions normally can be diagnosed.

    1. NG : Replace luggage room J/B ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check wire harness. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Pull out the ECU connectors mentioned below.

    DTC DETECTION ITEM

    Wire harness side connector of ECU Terminal
    Luggage room J/B EGU - Combination switch. MPX+ (L14-2) - MPX2 (C,14-10)
    Luggage room J/B ECU - Gateway ECU MPX- (L14-13) - MPL1 (G3-6)

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of the wire harness between the connectors.

    OK: 

    There is a continuity between the connectors. 

    HINT:

    If there is OPEN in any wire harness, please repair it.

    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness. 
    2. OK : Replace luggage room J/B ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
