Inspection Procedure

Check ECM.
CHECK:

Check that the engine starts normally.

HINT:

With this inspection, whether or not the ECM functions normally can be diagnosed.
1. NG : Replace ECM (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
2. OK : Go to next step.

Check wire harness.

PREPARATION:

Pull out the ECU connectors mentioned below.

DTC DETECTION ITEM

Wire harness side connector of ECU	Terminal
ECM - Passenger side J/B ECU	MPX1 (E2-21) - MPX- (P4-4)
ECM - A/CECU	MPX2 (E2-20) - MPX+ (A11-2)

CHECK:

Check continuity of the wire harness between the connectors.

OK:

There is a continuity between the connectors.

HINT:

If there is OPEN in any wire harness, please repair it.

NG : Repair or replace wire harness.
OK : Replace ECM (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
