Inspection Procedure

  1. Check passenger door ECU. 

    CHECK: 

    Check if the passenger door window glass automatically moves up.

    HINT:

    With this inspection, whether or nor the passenger door ECU CPU functions normally can be diagnosed.

    1. NG : Replace passenger door ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check wire harness. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Pull out the ECU connectors mentioned below.

    DTC DETECTION ITEM

    Wire harness side connector of ECU Terminal
    Passenger door ECU - Rear door RH ECU MPX1 (F17-17)..- MPX2 (R15-20)
    Passenger door ECU - Gateway ECU MPX2 (F17-26) - MPD2 (G1-15)

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of the wire harness between the connectors.

    OK: 

    There is a continuity between the connectors. 

    HINT:

    If there is OPEN in any wire harness, please repair it.

    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness. 
    2. OK : Replace passenger door ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
