Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of not using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start from step  3.

  1. Whether or not this DIG is cleared when the power window is moved from folly-closed to fully-opened condition. 
    1. YES : it is suspected that the DTC was detected by ECU with any failure in the past. 
    2. NO : Go to next step. 
  2. Check jam protection pulse switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace the power window motor. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between jam protection pulse switch and rear door RH ECU. (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ) 
    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
