Inspection Procedure

  1. Check power window switch circuit using DTC check (See  DTC B1223, B1224 POWER WINDOW/DOOR LOCK SWITCH CIRCUIT ON PASSENGER DOOR  ). 
    1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG : Go to next step. 
  2. Check the power window switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace the power window switch. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check the door lock manual switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace the door lock manual swatch. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  4. Check wire harness and connector between power window switch and passenger door ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  5. Check wire harness and connector between door lock manual switch and passenger door ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
