Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start from step  2.

  1. Whether or not this DTC is cleared when the power window is moved from fully-closed to fully-opened condition. 
    1. YES : It is suspected that the DTC was detected by ECU with any failure in the past. 
    2. NO : Go to next step. 
  2. Check jam protection pulse switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace power window motor. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between jam protection pulse switch and passenger door ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Replace passenger door ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
