Circuit Description

This DTC is output when failure of the cam position circuit is detected.

HINT:

When cam position switch 1, 2 and 3 are not all "ON" or all "OFF", this DTC is cleared.

DTC B2211 TROUBLE DETECTING

DTC No. DTC Detecting Condition Trouble Area
B2211 Cam position switch 1, 2 and 3 in the door closer motor are all "ON" or all "OFF".
  • Door closer motor
  • Wire harness
  • Driver door ECU

The closer detection switch is built in the door lock assembly.

This switch is used to detect the position of the closer motor.

The relationship between each switch and closer motor conditions is as follows.

When it operates regular rotation, the operation goes from top of the list. When reverse rotation, from bottom of the list.

CLOSER MOTOR CONDITION SPECIFICATION

Closer motor conditions CPS1 CPS2 CPS3
(Error range) OFF OFF OFF
1. Original position OFF ON ON
2. Closer operation range ON ON OFF
3. Reverse rotation range ' ON OFF OFF
4. Reverse rotation range ON OFF ON
(Error range) OFF OFF OFF

If the closer detection switch does not operate in the order mentioned above, the Driver door ECU judges the closer operation as an error, and the operation is stopped.

Regular rotation: 1 --> 2 --> 3 --> 4 --> 6 --> 5 --> 1

Reverse rotation: 1 --> 5 --> 6 --> 4 --> 3 --> 2 --> 1
