Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the seat belt tension reducer switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace the seat belt tension reducer switch. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check wire harness and connector between seat belt tension reducer switch and driver side J/B ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NO : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
