Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start from step  2.

  1. Check wireless door lock buzzer using LEXUS hand-held tester. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Connect the LEXUS hand-held tester to the DLC3.

    CHECK: 

    Check that the wireless door lock buzzer can be operated in ACTIVE TEST.

    OK: 

    The wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

    1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG : Go to next step. 
  2. Check wireless door lock buzzer (See  VIBRATION CIRCUIT  ). 
    1. NG : Replace wireless door lock buzzer. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between wireless door lock buzzer and theft deterrent ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
