Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Lexus LS 430. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Telescopic motor is operated by the power voltage supplied from power tilt and power telescopic ECU and makes the steering column slide forward and rearward. Telescopic position sensor (Hole) in the telescopic motor detects the sliding position of the forward and rearward direction of the steering column and outputs the signal to the CPU in response to that sliding amount.

HINT:

Limit positions can be confirmed on the screen of the LEXUS hand-held tester.
