Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Lexus LS 430. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Tilt motor is operated by the power voltage supplied from power tilt and power telescopic ECU and makes the steering column tilt upward and downward. Tilt position sensor (Hole IC) in the tilt motor detects the tilt of the steering column and outputs the signal to the CPU in response to that tilt.

HINT:

Limit positions can be confirmed on the screen of the LEXUS hand-held tester.
