Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER
- Data list
- Using the hand-held tester, check that DTC B1222 is output when the switch is operated.
HINT:
Using DTC "B1222"which is a code when any of the master switch is constantly turned on, the switch operation can be monitored. If there is an output of DTC "B1222"when the switch is operated, the switch circuit can be considered normal.
Standard (Body ECU (Switch condition)):
NG: GO TO DOOR LOCK MOTOR CIRCUIT (See DOOR LOCK MOTOR CIRCUIT (DRIVER DOOR) )
OK: Go to next step.
- Using the hand-held tester, check that DTC B1222 is output when the switch is operated.
- Data list
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER
- Active test
- Select the active test, and then check that the power door lock operates.
HINT:
During the active test, the hand-held tester sends signal to the body ECU to drive the power door lock motor. If the power door lock operates, the power door lock motor itself and the wire harness between the power door lock motor and body ECU is considered normal.
Standard (Body ECU):
- Select the active test, and then check that the power door lock operates.
- Data list
- Perform a Data list of the body ECU.
HINT:
Data list displays on the hand-held tester the switch condition judged by the body ECU. If the display changes according to the actual switch operation, the switch itself and the wire harness between the switch and body ECU is considered normal.
Standard (Body ECU):
Standard (Door ECU):
Judgement:
B: GO TO UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH CIRCUIT (See UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH CIRCUIT )
C: GO TO DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CIRCUIT (See DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CIRCUIT )
A: GO TO DOOR LOCK MOTOR CIRCUIT (See DOOR LOCK MOTOR CIRCUIT (DRIVER DOOR) )
- Perform a Data list of the body ECU.
- Active test
