Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT ECM (LCKI - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Remove the ECM with connectors being connected.
    2. Start the engine and push AUTO switch.
    3. Measure the waveform according to the value(S) in the figure Fig 2 below.

      Standard

    B: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 

    C: Go to step   3 

    A: Go to next step. 

  2. INSPECT A/C LOCK SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect compressor connector.
    2. Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of compressor lock sensor connector.

      Standard

    NG: REPLACE A/C LOCK SENSOR 

    OK: Go to next step. 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in figure Fig 8 below.

      Standard

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step. 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN ECM AND AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER) 
    1. Measure the resistance to the value(S) in the figure Fig 12 below.

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
