Inspection Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER (ABS WARNING LIGHT OPERATION) 
    1. Select the item "ABS WARN LIGHT" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the ABS warning light on the hand-held tester.
    2. Check that "ON" and "OFF" operation of the ABS warning light can be done on the combination meter by the hand-held tester.
    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSY 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  2. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSY (ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. NG: REPAIR COMBINATION METER ASSY 
    2. OK: CHECK AND REPAIR HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
