- Check ECU-IG fuse.
Preparation:
Remove ECU-IG fuse from Instrument Panel J/B.
CHECK:
Check continuity of ECU-IG fuse.
OK:
Continuity
- NG: Check for short in circuit all the harness and components connected to ECU-IG fuse (See Figure ).
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check battery positive voltage.
OK:
Voltage: 10 - 14 V
- NG: Check and repair the charging system. See CHARGING .
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check voltage between terminals IGI and GND of ABS actuator connector.
Preparation:
Disconnect ABS actuator connector.
CHECK:
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Measure voltage between terminals IG1 (3) - GND (1, 23) of ABS actuator harness side connector.
OK:
Voltage: 10 - 14 V .
- OK: Check or replace ABS actuator assembly.
- NG: Go to next step.
- Check continuity between terminals GND of ABS actuator connector and body ground.
CHECK:
Measure resistance between terminal GND (1, 23) of ABS actuator harness side connector and body ground.
OK:
Resistance: 1 Ω or less .
- NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
- OK: Go to next step.
Check for open circuit in harness and connector between ABS actuator and ECU-IG fuse. See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
