Sliding Roof Does Not Move By Sliding Roof Control Switch: Wiring Diagram

- Read value of hand-held tester
.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Enter DATA LIST hand-held tester.
Sliding Roof ECU
- OK: Go to next step.
- NG: Go to step 4.
- Perform active test by hand-held tester
.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Enter into ACTIVE TEST function of hand-held tester.
Sliding Roof ECU
- OK: Go to next step.
- NG: Go to step 6.
- Read value of hand-held tester
.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Enter DATA LIST hand-held tester.
Sliding Roof ECU
- OK: Replace sliding roof drive gear sub-assy
- NG: Go to next step.
- Check wire harness
.
- Disconnect the connector from the sliding roof drive gear assembly and inspect the connector on the wire harness.
- Inspect the continuity of wire harness between the sliding roof drive gear assembly and sliding roof switch.

- OK: Go to next step.
- NG: Repair or replace wire harness.
- Inspect sliding roof motor switch

- Inspect slide roof motor switch continuity.

- OK: Replace sliding roof drive gear sub-assy.
- NG: Replace sliding roof motor switch.
- Inspect slide roof motor switch continuity.
- Check the movement of the sliding roof
.
- Remove the sliding roof drive gear, then check that the sliding roof can be moved by the manual operation.
- OK: Replace sliding roof drive gear sub-assy.
- NG: Repair or replace sliding roof O/H.
