Inspection Procedure

  1. Inspect Brake Actuator Assy (Pump Motor Operation) 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the brake actuator.
    2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to BM (1) terminal and negative (-) lead to GND (2) and MR (11) terminal of the brake actuator, check that the pump motor is operated.
      1. OK: The Running Sound Of The Pump Motor Should Be Heard.

    1. OK: Go To Next Step  .
    2. NG: Replace Brake Actuator Assy. 
  2. Check Wire Harness And Connector (Skid Control Relay - Brake Actuator - Skid Control ECU).  See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS .
    1. OK: Replace Skid Control ECU Assy. 
    2. NG: Repair Or Replace Harness Or Connector
