Inspection Procedure

NOTE: Start the inspection from step  1 in case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester and start from step  2 in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester.
  1. Do Active Test Of Toyota Hand-Held Tester (ABS Warning Light Operation) 
    1. Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the TOYOTA hand-held tester.
    2. Check that "ON" of the ABS warning light can be shown on the combination meter using the TOYOTA hand-held tester.
    1. OK: Check And Replace Skid Control ECU Assy. 
    2. NG: Go To Next Step  .
  2. Inspect Combination Meter Assy. (ABS Warning Light Circuit) 
    1. OK: Check And Repair Harness And Connector 
    2. NG: Repair Combination Meter Assy.
