Inspection Procedure

Check blower motor.
Preparation: Remove blower motor. See BLOWER UNIT DISASSEMBLY .

Check: Connect positive (+) lead connected to terminal 2 of blower motor connector, negative (-) lead to terminal 1. If OK , blower motor operates smoothly.

1. NG: Replace blower motor.
2. If OK , go to step 2.
Check harness and connector between battery and blower motor, blower motor and body ground . See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION .
1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. If OK , go to step 3.
Check harness and connector between blower motor linear controller and A/C amplifier . See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION .
1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. If OK , go to step 4.
Check A/C amplifier. . See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION .
1. NG: Replace A/C amplifier.
2. If OK , replace blower motor linear controller.
