HV Battery Removal

- Remove service plug . See PRECAUTION .
- Remove LUGGAGE TRIM .
- Remove REAR SEAT .
- Remove power cable
:
- Using the service plug, turn the interlock counterclockwise to unlock.
- Remove the 3 nuts and battery carrier catch bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and power cables.
- Remove the earth terminal.
NOTE: When the interlock is damaged, be sure to replace it with new one.Courtesy of © TOYOTA, LICENSE AGREEMENT TMS1002
- Remove battery bracket

Remove the 13 bolts and nut, RH and LH battery brackets.
- Disconnect connector
:
- Disconnect the 2 connectors from the battery ECU.
- Disconnect the connector from the SMR.
- Disconnect the connector from the service plug assembly.
- Remove duct . See 3- 6 .
- Remove HV battery
:
- Disconnect the battery hose from the body.
- Remove the 5 bolts and HV battery.
WARNING: Since alkaline electrolyte may be on the hose end, carry out the operation with considerable care.
