Inspection Procedure

Check passenger buckle switch . See PASSENGER BUCKLE SWITCH AND SEAT BELT WARNING OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR .
1. NG: Replace the passenger buckle switch.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check seat belt warning occupant detection sensor. See STEP 1 - INSPECT COMBINATION METER CIRCUIT .
1. NG: Replace the seat belt warning occupant detection sensor.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check wire harness and connector between seat belt warning occupant detection sensor and body ECU, passenger buckle switch and seat belt warning occupant detection sensor, passenger buckle switch and body ground.
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
