Inspection Procedure

Is DTC output for ECM?
Check DTC. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .

YES: Repair engine control system according to the output code.

If NO , go to step 2.
Check the DTC for the ABS and VSC . See STEP B - IN CASE OF NOT USING HAND-HELD TESTER, CHECK THE DTC OF ABS & BA & TRAC & VSC ECU. or STEP D - IN CASE OF USING HAND-HELD TESTER, CHECK THE DTC .

Except "C1301/42" of VSC system DTC are output, Repair ABS and VSC control system according to the code output.

Check and replace translate ECU.
