Ignition Coil: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt for ignition coil to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. When installing spark plug wire on ignition coil, ensure spline on ignition coil aligns with spline on holder and install spark plug wire. Ensure holder is properly positioned on grommet and ignition coil. See Fig 2. Lightly pull upward on holder to ensure lock claw is securely locked in place.

  2. When installing spark plug wire on ignition coil, ensure spline on ignition coil aligns with spline on holder and install spark plug wire. Ensure holder is properly positioned on grommet and ignition coil. See Fig 2. Lightly pull upward on holder to ensure lock claw is locked in place.
