Throttle Body: Installation
- If installing TP sensor on No. 1 throttle body, ensure throttle valve on No. 1 throttle body is fully closed. Install TP sensor on No. 1 throttle body with TP sensor rotated counterclockwise 30-60 degrees against fully closed position. Rotate TP sensor clockwise and then install and tighten retaining screws to specification (if available). See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Using NEW gasket, reinstall IAC valve. Tighten IAC bolts to specification (if available). See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- To install throttle bodies, reverse removal procedure using NEW gaskets and "O" rings. Tighten throttle body-to-No. 1 intake air control valve bolts and No. 1 intake air control valve-to-air intake chamber nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill cooling system. Perform throttle body lever adjustment procedure. See THROTTLE BODY LEVER ADJUSTMENT .
To install throttle body, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Tighten throttle body bolts/nuts and suspension upper brace nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill cooling system.
To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Tighten throttle body bolts/nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill cooling system.
To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Tighten bolts/nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill cooling system.
To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Ensure gasket is installed with protrusion facing upward. See Fig 1. Tighten bolts/nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill cooling system.
