Removal & Installation (Avalon, Camry, Camry Solara, Highlander, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma & 4Runner)

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 10 other vehicles, including the 2002 Toyota Tundra, 2002 Toyota Tacoma, 2002 Toyota Sienna, 2002 Toyota Sequoia, and 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Canister Closed Valve Vacuum Switching Valve (CCV VSV) servicing procedure is just primarily an unbolt and bolt-on procedure. On Avalon, Camry, Camry Solara, Highlander, Sequoia and Sienna, CCV VSV is located near air cleaner housing. On Tacoma and 4Runner, CCV VSV is located in engine compartment, on bracket bolted to inside of driver's side front fender panel. On all models, for illustration of CCV VSV location, see EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING - V6 & V8 article.
