Removal & Installation (Tacoma)

  1. Remove necessary components for access to ignition coil mounted on valve cover. Disconnect electrical connector at ignition coil. Note location of ignition coil for installation reference. Remove ignition coil bolt and ignition coil from valve cover.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ignition coil bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
