Removal & Installation (MR2)

- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor. See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOCATION table.
- Drain cooling system. Remove ECT sensor and gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Tighten ECT sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill and bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING under COOLING SYSTEM.ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR LOCATION
