Turn Signal And Hazard Warning System: Inspection

  1. Inspect turn signal switch continuity  :

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.

  2. Inspect turn signal flasher operation  :

    Disconnect the connector from the turn signal flasher and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown.

  3. Inspect hazard warning switch continuity  :
    1. Remove the center cluster finish panel.
    2. Disconnect the connector from the center cluster integration.
    3. Check that continuity exists between terminal 3 and terminal 10 with the switch ON.
    4. Check that no continuity exists between terminal 3 and terminal 10 with the switch OFF.

      If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
