Inspection Procedure

  1. Check operation of door courtesy light. 

    Check  : that door courtesy light comes on when door opened, and goes off when door is closed.

    OK  : must be operated normally.

    1. OK  : proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
    2. NG  : Go to step  2.
  2. Check courtesy light. See  DOOR LOCK MOTOR CIRCUIT  . 
    1. NG  : Replace the courtesy light.
    2. OK  : Go to step  3.
  3. Check wire harness and connector between courtesy light and passenger door ECU. 
    1. NG  : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK  : proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
