Inspection Procedure

  1. Check operation of door courtesy light. 

    CHECK  : that door courtesy light comes on when door opened, and goes off when door is closed.

    OK  : must be operated normally.

    1. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
    2. NG  , go to step  2.
  2. Check courtesy light  . See steps 5 and 6 of INSPECTION .
    1. NG  : Replace the courtesy light.
    2. OK  , go to step  3.
  3. Check wire harness and connector between courtesy light and driver door ECU. 
    1. NG  : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
