Inspection Procedure

NOTE: In case of using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the TOYOTA hand-held tester, start from step 2.

Check wireless door lock buzzer using TOYOTA hand-held tester.
Preparation : connect the TOYOTA hand-held tester to the DLC 3.

Check : that wireless door lock buzzer can operate in an ACTIVE TEST.

OK : the wireless door lock buzzer should sound.
1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
2. NG: Go to step 2 .
Check wireless door lock buzzer . See INSPECT WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER OPERATION .
1. NG : Replace the wireless door lock buzzer.
2. OK : Go to step 3.
Check wire harness and connector between wireless door lock buzzer and Body ECU, Body ECU and wireless door lock buzzer . See HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS .
1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS .
