Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Camry

  1. Disconnect electrical connector at accelerator pedal position sensor. Accelerator pedal position sensor is located near top of accelerator pedal and contains a Black 6-pin electrical connector.
  2. Note terminals on accelerator pedal position sensor. See Fig 1. Using ohmmeter, check that resistance is within specification between specified terminals on accelerator pedal position sensor. See ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1. Replace accelerator pedal position sensor if resistance is not within specification.
