Section 276 (Charging System - Generators & Regulators - 2UZ-FE): Generator: Installation

Install Generator
1. Install the generator with the bolt and nut.
  1. Torque:
  2. 39 N.m (400 kg.cm, 29 ft.lbf)
2. Connect the generator connector.
3. Connect the generator wire with the nut and rubber.
4. Install the cap.
5. Install the generator wire clamp to the cord clip on the generator.

Install PS Vane Pump
Install Drive Belt
Install the belt by turning the belt tensioner counterclockwise.

NOTE: The pulley bolt for the belt tensioner has a left - hand thread.

Perform On-Vehicle Inspection. See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
Install No.2 Fan Shroud
Install the No.2 fan shroud with the 2 clips.
Install Engine Under Cover
