Shock Absorber Assembly: Reassembly

    NOTE: Fit the lower end of the coil spring into the gap of the spring lower seat.
  1. Insert the rear coil spring into the shock absorber assembly.
  2. Install rear shock absorber cushion washer No. 1, rear suspension support, rear spring front bracket sub-assembly, rear suspension support assembly, upper rear coil spring insulator, rear spring bumper No. 1 and rear coil spring.
  3. Position the rear spring front bracket sub-assembly with rear coil spring insulator. See Fig 1. Install the rear suspension support and rear shock absorber cushion washer No. 1. See Figure. Temporarily tighten a new center nut. Remove the SST. Recheck the direction of the rear spring front bracket sub-assembly. Use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the piston rod and tighten the nut. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
