Shock Absorber Assembly: Reassembly

- Insert the rear coil spring into the shock absorber assembly.
- Install rear shock absorber cushion washer No. 1, rear suspension support, rear spring front bracket sub-assembly, rear suspension support assembly, upper rear coil spring insulator, rear spring bumper No. 1 and rear coil spring.
- Position the rear spring front bracket sub-assembly with rear coil spring insulator. See Fig 1. Install the rear suspension support and rear shock absorber cushion washer No. 1. See Figure. Temporarily tighten a new center nut. Remove the SST. Recheck the direction of the rear spring front bracket sub-assembly. Use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the piston rod and tighten the nut. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
NOTE:
Fit the lower end of the coil spring into the gap of the spring lower seat.
