Possible Causes

DTC 76/B1198 could be caused by a short to battery in Yellow/Gray (circuit PLR+) and Yellow/Pink (circuit PLR-) wires in seat belt pretensioner squib circuit, seat belt pretensioner squib malfunction or air bag sensor assembly malfunction.

NOTE: During testing, if DTCs other than DTC 76/B1198 are retrieved, disregard them.
