Cooling System Bleeding

  1. Slowly pour coolant into radiator reservoir until full. Install radiator and radiator reservoir filler caps. Start engine. Turn on vehicle heater. Increase engine speed to 2000-2500 RPM and run until engine reaches normal operating temperature. Stop engine.
    NOTE: DO NOT use an alcohol type coolant or plain water alone. Mix coolant with demineralized or distilled water.
  2. Wait until engine coolant cools down. Remove radiator and reservoir caps and fill system with coolant until full. Install radiator and reservoir filler caps.
