Removal & Installation (4Runner)

- Draw out fluid from booster with syringe. Remove lower finish panel, hood lock release lever and fuel lid release lever. See Fig 1. Disconnect 5 connectors.
- Using tool (09023-00100), disconnect 4 brake lines. Remove return spring, clip, wave washer and clevis pin. See Fig 1. Remove 4 booster installation nuts, remove booster assembly and gasket.
CAUTION:
As high pressure is applied to the brake actuator No. 1 tube, never deform tube.
NOTE:
Do not turn on ignition until work is complete.
