Diagnostic Procedure

Disconnect ABS ECU pump motor connector. Using fused jumper wire, connect positive (+) lead to terminal M+ and negative lead to terminal M- of ABS pump motor connector, and check that pump motor operates. See Fig 1. If pump motor operates, check for open circuit in wiring harness between pump motor and ABS ECU. Repair as necessary. If pump motor does not operate, replace ABS actuator. See ABS ECU/ACTUATOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
