Diagnostic Procedure

Start inspection using TOYOTA hand-held tester or an OBD-II tester. Connect tester to DLC3. Turn ignition switch ON and push tester main switch ON. Select DATA LIST mode on hand-held tester. Check that deceleration value of deceleration sensor displayed by hand-held tester changes when vehicle is tilted. If value changes when vehicle is tilted, clear DTC. If value does not change, replace ABS ECU.
