Front Vehicle Height

  1. Inspect the front height control sensor link dimension. The length should be 2.335 inches (59.3 mm). See Fig 1.
  2. To adjust, loosen the 2 lock nuts on height control sensor link.
  3. Turn bolt of the height control sensor link to adjust length. Turning the bolt one revolution changes vehicle height by approximately .2 inches (5 mm).
  4. Ensure that height control sensor link exposed thread dimension is less than .75 inches (19 mm). See Fig 2.
  5. Coat threads of the bolt with Three Bond 1324 sealer or equivalent.
  6. Tighten the 2 lock nuts temporarily. Inspect the vehicle height.
  7. Ensure the ball joint and bracket are parallel and tighten lock nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
