Test No. 1: Fog Lights Do Not Operate With Light Control Switch In "Head" Position (Headlights Operate)

- Check FOG (15-amp) fuse located in driver side junction block under left side of instrument panel. See Figure. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is defective, repair short in wiring connected to fuse. See HEADLIGHTS in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. After repairs have been made, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
- Check fog light relay. See FOG LIGHT RELAY under COMPONENT TESTS. If fog light relay is okay, go to next step.
- Check fog light switch portion of light control switch. See FOG LIGHT SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS. If fog light switch is okay, go to next step.
- Check fog light wiring and connectors between light control switch and fog lights. See HEADLIGHTS in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Repair wiring as required. After repairs have been made, perform confirmation test. See CONFIRMATION TEST .
