Turn Signal Flasher

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Toyota Avalon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Turn ignition off. Remove turn signal flasher located behind kick panel under left side of instrument panel. Using jumper wires, connect positive battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and negative battery voltage to terminal No. 3 of turn signal flasher. Connect 2 turn signal bulbs in parallel between terminal No. 1 and negative battery terminal. See Fig 1. Replace turn signal flasher if bulbs do not flash 60-120 times per minute. If a front or rear turn signal bulb has an open circuit, it will cause excessive flasher operation (more than 140 flashes per minute).
