Diagnostic Procedure

NOTE:
If not using the hand-held tester, begin with step 2.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3. See Figure. Enter into ACTIVE TEST function of hand-held tester. Check that Moon Roof Motor operates as the hand-held tester directs. If the motor operates normally, go to MOON ROOF CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUIT . If the motor does not operate normally, replace the moon roof drive gear assembly. See MOON ROOF under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Replace the moon roof drive gear assembly. See MOON ROOF under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
CAUTION:
Caution is necessary not to be caught in as the jam protection system does not operate during conducting ACTIVE TEST.
NOTE:
With one ACTIVE direction, the moon roof can slide and tilt continuously.
