Rear Wiper Motor: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Lexus RX 300 and 2002 Lexus RX 300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear wiper motor. Install the packing to the motor. Install the rear wiper motor and tighten the 3 bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Connect the connector. Install the washer and nut on the outer side of the back door panel. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  2. Install the rear wiper arms and tighten the nut by hand. Operate the wipers once and turn the wiper switch OFF. Adjust the rear wiper arms. See REAR WIPER ARMS under ADJUSTMENTS . Install the rear wiper arm with the nut. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  3. Install the back door trim board to the back door panel.
  4. Install the upper back door trim to the back door panel.
